I agree with this, and it had a lot of pros. Though I'd also like to point out that there were a lot more trolling, trash talk, crying, drama and in general bad behavior on AOC. We'd get a game going and then one player decided to go perma-camouflage fire arrow (you remember that glitch?) which would then piss someone on the other team off. Next game that guy who's now on tilt decided to go pathfinding plague swords. Which would make someone else tilt...AEnima wrote:There was so much personality, rivalry, and bromancing.
Also there was a lot more common for people to just randomly alt f4 or wall allied mines etc. I'm not saying this would never happen on EEC, just a lot more common on AOC.
If you're talking about 2016 I'd say every top player except for Krass is incredibly inconsistent. So IMO he's clear #1. The next three spots is between me, sam, dave, gurke and nafra. Ye.. eC dominates.herik wrote: Let's talk about currently...who the top eec players would be?
I'm definitely EEC. I play both, but since I came from EEC (2004-2008) I'd never consider myself AOCer. Not sure about Nafra but I assume he consider himself as EEC too._DavE_ wrote:Idk where the likes of Nafrayu or Zen would be, EE or Aoc?
Are you implying that you could put more pressure on with EXP than regular CA civ? I dno how you started, but from what I've seen pretty much everyone started 2 TCs with a EXP+Gold civ which doesn't have WC or Building CR. To survive CA vs Sword you basically need perfect play the first F11 10, and here the regular civ is better. After F11 10 the EXP civ is a lot better of course, but I can't imagine anyone getting that far without taking serious damage._DavE_ wrote:This is the one I would disagree with 100%. Back in my time, I didn't lose Cav Exp vs Regular Swords, You'll be surprised by how much pressure you can put on, and how fast you can mass cavs with exp. You would start building a 3rd archery at 5 f11. Of course, this is going back years to my time.
