Can't Join Any Games

I'm new here, and i have been unable to join any direct connect games. I copy the Ip adress and paste it ingame, but then a lobby that has zero people in it is the only thing that appears. this lobby has the Ip adress that i pasted but it is not the same game. it is always Prehistoric to nano age, and it is always on a continental map. how do i fix this?

Open EE, go to main menu where it says "Multiplayer/Singleplayer/Tools/ etc. and click "other multiplayer" Then click "direct connect". Within Direct connect tab select "add game"/ A window will appear requesting 2 fields-game name and below that game address. After making sure you have selected a correct ip for the correct version of EE (ie: EEC or AOC) and a host that hasn't allready started the game, PASTE the ip into the adress field. The game will appear on your list, simply double click or select "join game" and you should be in. If you have any further issues , contact and Admin or Mod in the lobby, GL.

This is what i have been doing. after i paste the ip adress, i get a lobby that has zero players and is starting at the prehistoric epoch. this happens with every game i try to join, different Ip adress's give me the same result.

Not clear on this. Are you talking about the save ee lobby list or the games list located within
Empire Earth game ? If you are refering to the game itself then you would not see any games listed there except for the ones which you have placed there by ip in the direct connect section. If you click "refresh" you may or may not get a ping reading from games listed there. Simply double click the game in your games list and join. If you still canott join you must check that all of your patches are up to date.

ok it was my patch, thank you, sorry for the noob mistake.

And make sure you're pasting the IP into the IP box and not the Game Name box.
