-Edit- For some reason, all of my old images are gone, I don't know if this is an error or if Nola/Ghost/Whoever deleted it.
Here's a newer verson thats MUCH better then the old one.
Verson 3 is the current one.
Verson 1 can be viewed here

Lower the size/opacity of that glow.
It makes the image very ugly, decreases the visiblity of the earth, and looks gawdy and tacky.
Use a different font.
Times New Roman isn't the most eye-pleasing font.
There are much better, cleaner, fonts that are available for download.
Focus on a more banner-esque shape of image. 500x125 or under, constraining this proportion.
Or, 125x500.
Think how out-of-place it would be to have this perfect square among a rectangular based website.
Also
Remember the Rule of thirds? (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds)
You broke it 13 times over.
Bring the save-ee.com into more focus, make it the subject of this image, rather than just another part of it.
Change to "Your source for everything EE."
Having it be home to the lobby, just seems to turn this into some type of campaign or slogan.
"Burger King, your source for everything burgers. Home of the Whopper".
See what i mean?

The ee sign is way to bright and the words are partly hardly readable.
But way better than your 1st try

You're improving

basicly I like where you palced the stuff but the remaining big negative thign is still the quality. The reason for this might be that the ee things (you took them from screens?) are in a pretty low quality. Especially those 2 bombers are looking kinda thin

Yes,they are the units from the game,I SSed it,then toke the unit out (Yes,Paint.net CAN do this).
You really can't blame me for the unit's quality,I didn't make the model,and EE's alomst 7 years old....but..
It shows the retro-ness of EE,that the Gameplay makes up for the graphics.

Getting better.
Lower the Earth part of Empire Earth.
Raise the Empire part of Empire earth.
Center the Save-EE.com.
And change the Save-EE.com color to White maybe? Something a bit brighter.
fix the scaling on those planes, and make them a little smaller
Try increasing the size of the earth in the background to where the top and botom edges are cut off?

Your beginning to go past my skill level in Paint.net,what you speak off would require the whole thing to be remade...again.
So,you don't want Save- to be in EE colors?
I'll have to retake the SS for the plane and the bombs.
Might as well start a new one.
I done editing for a few days, maybe in... a few days.

When I was about to open this again,I thought to myself.
"If it's peow, and he says 'Get Photoshop',I'll kick his ass."
Congrats!
Firstly....Im not getting it...Quit telling me to.
Paint.net can do it,I just don't feel like doing it.
Not the software's fault,it's mine.

I'm saying, and so is 99% of computer users, photoshop is going to be the best photo editing software around.
You could try gimpshop.
