There's no way im downloading from a torrent.

if you're not a complete moron, then torrents are 100% safe.
In fact, my OS was downloaded through a torrent, and the only problem i've had was that WMP won't recognize my CD drive.

They actually check the shit they host, and it's all virus free...

Because i've formatted my PC upwards of 20 times, without backups.

to be honest, if you download a song, it's illegal.
Theres alot of things that are illegal, but you don't see anything on the news about people getting hunted down for DLing CS2.
