Hi guys
I have suggestion to add new feature for ee lobby
I got problem to show my ip in the place of ips in ee lobby bcz I got server for controling intenet
so it will show my lan ip even after forwording ports.I can not choose the ip through ee lobby bcz it is not shown there.I checked the network adapters
it is also not shown so i decided to put my real ip in host name bcz everyone can join my game by real ip.I want to show my real ip in ips so everyone can join me.
Can u make entering manual ip in the place of choosing ip in ee lobby so i can put my real ip while i host.

If you go to whatismyip.php it will show you your public IP. The lobby uses this exact method to obtain your IP for display in the games list.

As of now I have no intention of adding a manual way to display a different IP because it will likely be abused.

If whatismyip is not displaying the correct IP then you've got a seriously odd network configuration.

He's behind a proxy.

I have no Proxy and my ports are forworded but even in show my ip is not apear .(Show my ip of save ee) shows lan ip.But if i go to other site like this It will show my real ip http://www.ip-adress.com/,so i can give it to anyone and it will work with no problem.I have no problem in my network my config are v good.I am using mikrotik system to control internet .

can i static my ip through _LobbyResource files which located in ee data folder? and how?
or there is another way?

Ok so I should be able to fix it so you get the right IP, just gotta help me out with a little something first.

Go to test.php. A bunch of gibberish should appear on your screen. Copy and paste the entire thing into a post here.

Oh, and include your "real" IP in the post, the one you say it should be.

I've updated the IP detection script to more accurately obtain public IPs and it should be working for you now.
