oo im pretty sure a simple php if else would do it but could u make a button that is on or off for emotes like how some people wanna do the emote : o but
is what they get O_o?

I suppose you mean "emoticons," which I like to call smilies... I could add an option to turn them off on the options screen sometime I guess.

I think Fang means a button to toggle the use of Smilies by imputing certain characters .

if you use another browser besides IE, then pull up your ie options and set it to a proxy that doesnt exsist and you wont see smileys anymore, along with a few other things O_O
