Unit Relationship Chart

Hi everyone, I just got back into playing EE after a 6 or 7 year absence. The hardest part for me coming back has been figuring out all the unit relationships, as none of the charts really seem complete or easy to use. So I made my own, adapted from the charts in the Prima Strategy Guide. I've removed all the campaign only units, and made a couple changes and additions based on my own reading and experience. I would love any feedback you all can provide, if I've gotten anything wrong or missed anything please let me know.

Thanks!

Are the arrows equal to "beats". Meaning that shock > archery > pierce > shock ?

In that case, the shock unit war elephants gets killed by archery. And infantery gets killed by xbows.

Thanks :) And yes the arrows indicate one group beats the group the arrow is pointing to, just like in the manual/tech tree

I did it in Visio, took about 3-4 hours total

It's a generic chart, so there's still the exceptions like Lightnessking mentioned. Also you forgot the arrow from Cruisers to (beats) Sea King. And there's 2 arrows from Field Cannon to Battleship. Carriers aren't considered AA and Fighter-Bombers beat Land Units.

many flaws in this if you ask me and too simplistic. It's like you just take all barrack units (in mod) and say they own AT, when stingers are infact aa and can't even shoot at land stuff and snipers cirtainly don't beat AT either.

Nice effort, but it's only half done, sorry to say.

there's also hard counters and soft counters, for example pikes may beat swordsman but its not by a huge amount while knights hard counter swords. im just nit picking but if u really wanted to show it this could be shown using colours example red for hard counters green for soft counters. alot of effort given how old the game is most ppl have the idea, probably most used by ppl new to liga as a guide
