Save Empire Earth

Hi there, I am trying to make this game work for me but it seems impossible so I came here to ask for some help.
I installed this version of game: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4889
I tried to fix my problem using the information given in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5748

Pc specs: MoBo - Biostar B85MG, Proc - Intel G3258

L.E: I also tried to run the game in compatibility mode with Windows 2000, Windows XP SP2 and Windows XP SP3.

I'm having a problem with Windows 7(professional) as well, with an i7-2600k cpu @ 3.40 GHz.
It's worked on this computer before, but now the game "crashes" when its gets to the main page. It doesn't say there's an
error or anything, it just minimizes. When I try to maximize it, its a black screen, the music plays for a few seconds, and it minimizes again. I've tried, deleting, reinstalling, and other stuff I've read, but been able to get it to work. Suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I have to say that I solved my problem by updateing my drivers using this tool http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect
