EE starts up fine but when at the Multiplayer lobby in the bottom left it say checking game version then, Failed to initialize online system. It shows status online and how many users are online on the right. Maybe something to do with the version on the main menu screen in the upper left its v2.00.2949. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Firewall is off and no antivirus.

It seems that your network forbids communication with NeoEE servers. Maybe there are some restrictive settings in your router/gateway options that prevents you from contacting NeoEE servers.
