Intel HD 4000 Empire Earth problem

Hey guys!
My comp updated to windows 8.1 and installed all these new graphic drivers. Now I cant play EE because the screen flickers like crazy.
I went to intels site to make them aware of it, but I need help.
If theyre not gonna fix this, all the people that upgrade to windows 8.1 wont be able to play the game.
