AoC crashes on startup

When I try to run the AoC crack it loads the Empire Earth banner then after about 4-6 seconds it prints Error Empire Earth has stopped working. Am I doing something wrong? I tried running it in compaitability mode for windows xp service pack 3 and the other settings
