Save Empire Earth

Hey All,
Trying to continue a game that my brother and I started earlier today. We used the "GameRanger" program to play. Does anyone know if this is possible? I am not very tech savvy so the simpler the better. Thanks in advance for the help!

U need to save before your friend quits. Then start the game with the same name you guys used last time. Then load game.

Get into a game lobby with the same usernames and then where the Game Type dropdown is, change it from Random Map to Saved Game and pick the saved game from the list.
