EE mirror broken

My friend whom plays EE can no longer play, ive tried to help him, with his graphics, and his ee installtion.
He has even, reinstalled the EE unlimited, and just as we suspected it's currupted, first we both noticed it had changed since we last downloaded it, and when he went to either extract or open the WIN RAR file' DATA 1 DATA 2.. Error..
i came as a second opinion, and i couldnt see anything that we did wrong...
He has installed EE over and over, restarted his pc, updated his ATI driver's and system restore.
I truly believe the EE unlimited needs to be looked at.
