Save Empire Earth

I have never messed with any of the files or things related to save-ee and today when I tried to log on this error message came up.



Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this? I tried getting rid of everything so I could reinstall but the computer said it could not be deleted because it was being used by another application.

Open Task Manager and end the program if it's running. Also, if cmd.exe is running and you aren't using it, end that process as well. Try deleting it. If you still can't delete it then close your browser and try again. After you finally have it removed then just redownload the lobby from the homepage. Your names and options should still be intact if you run it from the same location.

Nothing was running in the task manager and I closed the browser and I was able to delete everything except for this.

I downloaded the lobby again and I'm getting it to work. Now the lobby background is black, is that supposed to happen?

The default is black. If you had the lobby before I switched the color scheme to look more like the old one (a long time ago) then the white background got carried over.

Anyway there's no reason why you shouldn't have been able to delete the file. Trying a simple restart of Windows probably would've fixed it.

No the old lobbyclient.exe icon still can't be deleted but I guess it don't matter because I redownloaded the lobby and everything works fine. Now its just an annoyance having extra desktop icons.

It might be in use by other software, e.g. virusses.
