Save Empire Earth

I have a PC running Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 64 bit - this is the only PC I have with a 64 bit OS at the moment. I have installed EE, EE: AoC and the Save-EE Client Lobby on 3 other computers (all 32 bit OS; 1 Vista & 2 XP) with no problems. But on this computer (64 bit) when I try to run EE: AoC (note: EE 2.0 runs just fine) I get this error:

EE-AOC.exe has stopped working

A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

I have searched Google and this website but could not find a solution. I have tried running the game as administrator and in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode - nothing works. Is there any way to get around this? Thanks!

It's certainly not because you're on a 64-bit OS. EE has worked for me on Vista Ultimate x64 (and SP1 and SP2) and Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

What video cards are in your computers?

I've never had a problem on any 64 bit xp/vista/w7.
