Save Empire Earth

I don't know what the hell is going on. I mounted the ISO for regular EE, installed it fine, tried to run the first patch, and POOF!



Help.

You used a crack before trying to patch. Download the original EXE here download/ee1000originalexe.zip then replace and try the patches again. If you need the 2.0 no-cd crack, it's on our downloads page.

Well, I don't have the 1.0 version of that file on hand so I don't know exactly what it says inside, but you can try opening up \Sierra\Empire Earth\Sierra Update\zVersion.cfg with Notepad.

I'm on version 2.0 and it says: So, the file is probably deprecated after 1.0.4.0. Just try changing it to "1.0" or "1.0.0.0" and try the patch again. Otherwise, you'll have to try reinstalling the game and patching again.

Okay. I got AoC installed, and I've been following the directions swell, but EE-LOBBY-UPDATE.exe <-- this bugger doesn't feel like working, it 404's everytime i go to it.

btw i just shat on a medium computer in an indy sh. but got stomped when trying against a hard.

That's an out-dated link and file. This is the new one lobby/LobbyUpdate.exe. I suppose I should add some redirects sometime.
