Solved my issue
So I have spent a few hours updating and patching both my laptops.

After spending quite a while screwing around I can finally get both laptops to see the other game and join it ( i have tried hosting & joining with both pcs, neither works)

Right now I have a hosted game with the other laptop joined, and ready. But when I click start game nothing happens. It doesn't freeze or timeout or give an error. It is like that button was made to make a click noise then do fuck all.

I May not be Omega But, Can you Host Games On Direct Connect?

Well it works for EE, but I can't play AoC...

I also can't find another patch or anything for art of conquest. When I try to join someone elses game it says I have a different version number.

v1.00.2657 do I need to update or am I missing something?
