EE-AOC Error - Help?

EE-AOC Error - Help?

I Get this error

Code: Select all

ERROR - CAN'T RUN!
Empire Earth: Art of Conquest requires a sound card and driver in order to run. No sound card has been detected.
I've reinstalled driver and yes i obviously have a sound card...any help would be greatly appreciated.
I don't know what else i should do.

I'm having the same problem, but

doesn't really make sense to me.

Empire Earth aoc did work on my computer originally but, I reloaded the operating system (because my computer had a super slow startup time) and everything It needs to go with it including the sound drivers, and now the game won't work with redskull's problem. :(
