What is the patch status of your EEC?

Are you running multiple folders for either game? If so, please list the directories for all the folders and the patch status of each folder.

Try removing the patch on your EEC in addition to your AoC when you try to play unpatched AoC games.

It should not make a difference, but it does for some people.

EE Serial: LES9-RUC2-TYM8-CEJ3-2727
AoC Serial: BUN9-CAB8-GYC5-CUD3-4844

I know that sometimes a few of the effects of an EE mod will carry over to AoC, but it never caused me to go OOS that I can remember. EE and AoC are buggy games, so what do you expect? lol

Google should solve your problem. Depending on what you type in, the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button might even solve it.

You also didn't need to uninstall your EEC to try what I suggested, just remove the patch by running the installer again and clicking "Remove".

use FileAssassin to delete the files that are preventing the uninstall.

This is what my problem was as well Taco.. Omega tried everything wouldn't work for me hopefully you have better luck. You can do what he told me to do reformat Vista.. Joey had the same problem as well, but he used his portable hard drive and copied his brothers folder's to his PC, and it worked for him
