I always found it annoying that for selecting 6,7,8 cits you had to press shift + tab 6,7,8 times.
So I downloaded Hot Keyboard 5 Pro and now I only have to press 6,7 or 8 to select 6,7 or 8 cits, which is very handy and fast.
I also only have to press 1 key to get my army back, and 1 key to get my army attack.
Furthermore, 1 key to collect all my idle soldiers and add them to my army.

1. Download Hot Keyboard for free here:

2. Install it
3. Download my preset for EE here:

4. In Hot Keyboard select
File- Import-
Chose the preset you just downloaded.

PS:
"Game Start Swordsmen" and "Game Start Cavalry Archers" normally make cits at your capitol, select your civilization and put you to the diplomacy screen to transfer gold/iron. However these Hotkeys may not work for you because the mouse movements in it are based on my screen size.
If you want them to work you have to change the mouse movements in this Hotkey. However all other Hotkeys don't need mouse movement and therefore will work perfectly for you.

Yeah... Macro keys aren't exactly legal in competitive RTS games.

That being said, using it with your friends, or asking in a game if it's okey that you use this is fine.


IF macro keys were legal everyone would be using the spam , macro, spam shift+FFFFFFF, spam shift+DDDDDDDD etc etc.

I don't understand what you mean. What is spam shift+FFFFFFF, spam shift+DDDDDDDD ?

To control idle fighter you hold shift and press f. EE's ctrl-groups doesn't work as they should for planes, so basically everyone who uses planes have to get used to spamming shift+FFFF to get control of them before sending them out. Adding macro-key that did this in 1 click would be OP as fuck and everyone wanting to compete would have to get macro keys themselfs.

Also spam+,,,,,, (for idle army) and 1click to control 6 idle cit is OP too.

Why don't we just say everybody can use that?
I find it much more fun to play with Keyboard shortcuts.
Simply annoying to press the same button so often, if you know what you want to do.

Also, if EE was still under development, everybody would request these shortcuts anyway.
So why not stuffing the holes that the developers left?

To make it more fair we could include the hotkey program & preset in the EE Unlimited download and in NeoEE.

Not so good, its like small cheat.
Years ago there was a Post about that in the forum and Omega said its allowed since its only have a small impact and cant be controlled.
To my mind its gives u actually good advantages but Omega was right with saying that u cant control it and backthen and now some players still using it.
But nice u put effort in it to explain it to others
