Ctrl+building hotkey

It's very fast tbh

ctrl+building hotkey gives u just 1 building as far as I remember.
Not rly a alternative too group selection.

If you select 5 capitols, press ctrl+1, you will have 5 capitols grouped on 1.

I use both individual building hotkeys and grouped buildings with control groups. It just depends on how many of each I've got, what I want to make, how many I want to make, etc. Usually I group them anyway if it's only one because the building hotkey centers the screen on it and I don't always want that.

When i start game my army is already made for me. So no need to group military buildings

It depends what you are doing... If you've got 4 production facilities and are mixing a variety of units, and have devoted your first 5-6 hotkeys to unit groups, Ctrl+building hotkey is the way to go. If you want to make 4 of the same unit simultaneously while still intently to focusing on a unit group, hotkeying the buildings is the way to go... Basically it's situation specific.

I use the last four or fivr group boxes for buildings. Grouping is the best method hands down. U can easily add new buildings to the group. Its more efficient.

well I use same way as slip, I've never grouped my capitols tho. I always group the buildings in same numbers. barracks is 0, siege fac, 9 etc. for a beginning of the game tho, I group my main mili building(s) in slot 3 cause it's closer to tab, shift, ctrl etc. but further in the game I need more than 2 groups for units...

Btw I really laughed at those videos when u want a unit somewhere u tell it like 10000 times lol was it really that laggy?

Tbh I barely play with grouped builds or what ever, later in game I am using mouse for everything just my army I group when its getting to big... But when others have like 200 clicks I have like 1200 clicks, how ever you like it ... I also used to play with grouped buildings but I messed up in mod sh with grouped buildings, always adding new once and making army and controll army same time, well thats not how I handel it

Maybe thats what uve been missing
