Poll on test patch

Vote is up. It will be up for awhile, so you don't need to vote immediately if you're still evaluating the test patch and don't know how you want to vote yet.

Directions: Please read all questions carefully before answering them. For questions that ask you for your lobby or your forum username, PLEASE, give your *exact* lobby username or *exact* forum username! If you fail to do this, although we will do out best to ensure your vote gets counted, it's very possible it won't be. The only way to ensure your vote gets counted is to actually manage to copy/paste your CORRECT user name. It's not hard.

If you attempt to manipulate the poll by voting multiple times, *ALL* votes you cast will be removed. Attempting to dilute, and thus effectively censor, the opinions of others is a pathetic and cowardly thing to do. Furthermore, it takes a significant amount of time to go through and ensure no one manipulated the poll this way, which becomes MUCH longer when people actually do try. If being a pathetic coward and a time waster is not enough to stop you from trying to manipulate the poll, I sure hope losing your vote in it is enough.

Here's a quick look at the poll, with labels, for reference:
Untitled.jpg
Some info:
For those who voted A to question 2, the answer to question 1 was automatically discarded and assumed to be A.

Results:
388 unique votes

1. Do you want to continue testing this patch for a few more days?
  • A. Yes - 239 (61.60%)
    B. No - 149 (38.40%)
2. What is your current stance on the test patch?
  • A. Make no tribute screen patch permanent - 147 (37.89%)
    B. Take out tributes, still want to see screen - 60 (15.46%)
    C. Revert to last patch - 130 (33.51%)
    D. Revert to vanilla - 51 (13.14%)
Breakdown
  • 2A: 147

    1A & 2B: 30
    1B & 2B: 20

    1A & 2C: 37
    1B & 2C: 93

    1A & 2D: 15
    1B & 2D: 36
Outcome:
Testing will continue as per the vote.

Another poll with take place. Due to the division in question 2 and the low numbers for answers B and D, all voters will be asked to provide a second (and possibly third) most preferred choice in the next poll.

For question 2, I'd rather not simply take the answer with the most votes. For example, if only 37.89% voted A, then 62.11% is "against" it. That is why 2nd choices will be in the next poll, and the proper weights will be applied based on chosen preference. Hopefully this will tip the scale in the direction of a compromise.

IMO just run the next poll with A and C. B and D lost by landslides, so those who voted for 1 of those 2 now have to chose their second. No point in over-complicating it.
Decide if its gonna be majority rule or a super majority to keep the new patch and thats it.

Super majority, definitely, but we'll keep testing as long as a majority of players still want to.

Isn't 1c the same as both 2b and 2c?

Haha couldnt be more biased.
You state in there :
1) Scenarios can be fixed to allow diplomacy and tributes using triggers
2) Citybuilder games can be converted into scenarios, and thus able to use diplomacy and trbutes
3) Removing the tribute screen is the only way to stop resource glitching. There is no other way
I am so disappointed that you did it again. WHY didn't you put :

1) It will change Liga games is a drastic way
2) It will take away a piece of the game/ Teamplay
3) Citybuilders can only be played on 1 map or you have to do more scenarios for it
etc...

Ya right, because this arent changes ? Because this is your PERSONAL opinion Ghost , or maybe the opinion of save-ee staff. :ncool: :ncool: :ncool: :ncool: :ncool:

And your personal opinions or thoughts aren't biased? Most citybuilders are played on Euro RP or World Map anyways because they are extra big and realistic terrain. It takes away team play, but depending on you look at it, it may enhance team play. Liga games are almost unchanged except in copper people actually go Assyrian Empire and don't die instantly, or in 1v1 Renn-Indy Assyrian Empire is viable. All the changes are quite positive for liga some have complained about Spain, but I played versus good players 1v1 and 2v2 the last week I did die to a few Spain rushes not because I did not expect it because they had an incredible map and I had a poor map, and they played the map very well nothing to do with me seeing their civ. I still won 75% of the time versus Spain which is much needed since before it was 90% victory versus Spain.

He isn't pushing any propaganda he is saying there are alternatives to play citybuilders and diplos compared to there are no alternatives to stop glitching.

Those are actually Omega's words and I just copied and pasted them. Also, they were there for the first poll, why only say something now?

Because I didnt realise in the first poll , but no thats not my personal opinions

It is fact that there are negative sides , and they arent listed , or they are minimized , wont you agree ?
