Why do you run vista ghost?

It came with my laptop, and it seemed like I had less problems with it than I did with XP, so I stuck with it. At one point I was dual booting Vista, XP, Fedora, and Ubuntu but I quickly got rid of Fedora. I had some problems with my network configuration at school with Ubuntu and stopped using XP since everything worked fine if not better on Vista, so that's all I have left now.

I basically have Vista's processes stripped down to close to nothing. I could get rid of a few more if I didn't use wireless. Eventually XP will be a thing of the past. It's just like how everyone wanted to stick with Win2k when XP came out. I've just got a head start on the majority of users.

Ive gotten vista down to 27 processes using 300 megs of ram at start. Xp 16 processes 79 megs of ram with pagefile turned off on both.
Im not gonna lie vista sp1 does run nice but it doesnt suport full screen overlay which I use with my video editor. So im stuck with xp praying windows 7 will suport it :(
