Save Empire Earth

I have downloaded Empire Earth and the patch but when I try and start it up it goes through the beginning cut scene and then crashes. I have run it as an administrator and tried changing compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 3 and that hasn't helped.

Try compatibility mode win8. Also try to change resolution in settings to something that ends with x32.
