No servers loading

Hey, I've just tried to play online. And no servers are appearing in the server list. Could it have to do with me using a VPN?
I asume it is, because it says I appear to not be connected to the internet. RIP, there goes my dream of playing this online with and vs other people.
Please help me

Did you install NeoEE?
As long as you have EE and NeoEE patch installed successfully and are connected to the internet (even with VPN) it should work.

Yes, I both have EE + EE AoC legally bought and I downloaded the patch. (the download link on this page is the patch right?:

When I open NeoEE it just says "you appear to not be connected to the internet". Direct connection also does not load any servers in the list.

Give it a try with this installation link ,

It includes both EE setup and NeoEE patch.
I honestly dunno the issue but try with this and hopefully it might fix.
