DxWnd Multiplayer screen issue

Hi, I've been trying to get Empire Earth working in DxWnd to play a game with my friend and I can get the game working for the most part, but if I go into the multiplayer menu, the border disappears and I'm unable to do anything until I kill the task and reopen the game.

I looked at the official setup but didn't see anything on DxWnd.

My point was that you can make EE work without it.
