Is this REAL?!

I used to play EE and EE(AoC) back in 2004 until my mom scratched my game and was no longer unplayable. I was like 14 and could not buy it again so i resorted to other games.

I was rememberng about how much fun it would be to play again but of course i knew the servers would be down. But I came across this website through Youtube and wondered if this was legit. Is this real? If I were to obtain a copy of EE and stuff could I really play online against thousands(maybe hundreds now) of players?

Yes, this is real.

Our highest (recent) activity levels have been more like 120 players at a single time, so I'm not sure "hundreds" is the right word. Obviously, the activity level fluctuates a lot in any given day, and is higher on the weekends than weekdays.

No, we are both really busy. I got married and I am in medical school right now, but I still can't help but check the forums every so often. EE was a really big part of growing up for me ya know, atomic and I played together almost everyday for the better part of 2003-2008. There is a lot of good memories here. I hope maybe I'll have some time in the future to play again though.
