With a Heavy Heart, I share that "Signal" has died
Signal, known to me and others close to him as Gram, died on Monday September 27 2021. He lived to be 31 years old.
Signal was known to many here on EE. Many would remember him by his acute humor and his skillful playing, mostly in the Mid Sh and Mod Tl arenas.
Personally, I met Signal first in 2003. We hit it off. He showed me so much good music, and we had so many good laughs. He was hilarious. A king of smurfing and fun times. He was my first "real friend online" and I valued our friendship so so much. As the years passed, we always stayed in contact.
I was lucky enough to have met him actually in person about 6 years ago. We were from the same area and he was visiting and we went to a Waffle House. He seemed happy and was very engaged in our conversation. I'm grateful for that experience.
