this is the ultimate cav but i would only use it vs noobs or if ur pocket and ur wings are good and dont need help so fast

u dont have to micro much with them, u dont have to be scared of ballis cus they can hold 2 or 3 more shots than normal cav and u can boom with them
finally its a civ for ppl getting bored of normal cav and hit and run etc..

1. 16 spd = shit micro for ca. 2. they should b scared of a micro agaisnt them, 3. they should b still scared of bali. since most ppl these days can fit bali range in civ. and will b able to hit n run ur ca.

it might b a good lazy way to defend agaisnt a sword slut. or at the start of the game against ca. thats about it imo

i forgot to say that u pim 2x hp 2x attack 1x range

u dont have to micro much and u dont realy must be afraid of ballis cus u have 2x hp more than usual

Ultimate at what? Ultimately sub-par?

You'd only use it:
1) Against novice players, i.e. against people who are really bad
2) When your wings are good and do not need help fast (i.e. when your wing is a good player and the other side has zero idea how to play Empire Earth, i.e. when the other side consists of mediocre or novice players)

This implies your civilization is bad.

You can't micro much with them. It's not possible.

You'll still die to Balistas, and even harder despite each individual unit surviving more shots, since the average volley is enough to kill them regardless... Plus, their range is so bad they're going to get shot at and hit before they can even attack a Balista, meaning of course that they're confined to a purely defensive strategy against anyone who has them, since they can't hit and run effectively, or micro, and are outranged. Basically, this translates as a loss.

You can boom with cavalry archers. This is a cavalry archer civ, although not a particularly good one. Therefore you can boom with it.

Again, another admission of badness. The reason people use cav archers is because of their superior mobility.

This civilization would be much better off as a Long Bow civilization.

it would b even more of a fail with lbs. since there hp is so low 2 balli shots(havent tested it but about that) would kill them even with hp in civ 2 hp. idk his civ just doesnt work. if i was u hello i would replace cr and put it on spd. yes u would have less ca but they would b useful ca. they can take hits. the few points left u could contribute to ur bali ( att or range). my 4v4 civ doesnt have ca cr. ill admit its slower at massing but with a wing which is intended to apply pressure to thier side u can get away with it. then help him later with, balli, att range./pop cap.

Well, my long bow suggestion was not intended to make this civilization better in a real game.

It was however intended to provide a superior alternative way of beating up on utter noobs that is not "normal", and has zero element of "hit and run" involved. Based on the criteria presented for this civilization (both explicit and implicit), long bows fit them much better than no-speed cavalry archers.

(Well, actually it was intended to show how silly of an idea making a civilization that fits the above criteria actually is, because something that everyone knows is hopelessly bad fits said criteria MUCH, MUCH better. But hey, it would also provide a fairly amusing civilization to pwn noobs with!)

if u win wihtout using ur speed on ca, u shouldnt b using ca to begin with, its completly pointless, and u are much better massing lbs(more range, less cost, faster buildng time, easy to change to xbow, in respect to thier cost more attack then ca etcetc). this change was already stated by omega, but im just restating it, as some of u dont seem to understand how useless power ca really are, especially without speed.

well i am sry but our experiences say other things. i dont have problems with ur theorys but as far as we play with this civ it works ._.
