Empire Earth Anti-Cheat Patch

Important Information:

• This patch completely disables the Alliances & Tributes screen for both EE and AoC at once. This prevents the use of the tribute glitch, but it will also prevent you from tributing your allies, playing diplomacy games, seeing who has chosen their civilization, and selecting who sees "Custom" chat.
• Apply this patch only after two official Sierra updates. The full version code of Sierra's second update is 2.00.3466, which can be seen in the top-left corner of the EE main menu.
• If you have applied this patch, your EE version code will be 2.00.2837. AoC's version code will change colors (white to black).
• With this patch, you can only play with people who also have it installed. Otherwise, when you attempt to join a game you will get an error saying "Your game version does not match the host's version."
• To remove the patch and revert to 2.00.3466, run the file "Uninstall.exe" which is located in your EE's root folder (default is "C:\Sierra\Empire Earth").
  ALTERNATIVELY you may locate the "..\Sierra\Empire Earth\Data\db" folder and delete it or rename it to something like "db123."
• Save-EE will provide support for this patch, but not for the Gome software.

I've downloaded the files already, but since it's 2:00AM here I'm going to get some sleep. I'll give this all a try tomorrow and see how things go.

Haven't figured out how to access the server yet, but I have installed the anti-tribute patch and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Job well done by the creator of this patch. It turns the icon you click to tribute into a citizen hotkey. Ok so, this does 3 things:
1: Eliminates the possibility of tribute glitching. (awesome)
2: Completely prevents allies from aiding each other with tribute. (not so good)
3: Eliminates the ability to play diplo, as you can not bring up the Alliances screen since it is the same screen used for Tributes.

Question: Is the community willing to give up these two aspects of the game to be rid of eco glitching?

We are still making efforts to solve the problems you mentioned.
We just need more time.

And what problems are you facing when assessing the server?Can't read Chinese?

Hmm it seems that this patch has the unfortunate side effect of rendering Art of Conquest unplayable.

No, have only run EE once. I'm uninstalling AoC now, maybe a reinstall will allow it to recognize the new version.

Reinstall of Art of Conquest fixed that problem. All good now.
