G'day,
I have been playing with this lobby since about 3 months and I'm very happy that something like this exists and it's most of the time fun to play on here. But somethings just piss me off extremely.
For example, if I see something like "I don't play with unknowns" or "kick slot 5 I don't know who he is" or "mid sh 3v3 no unknowns".
Do you actually know how rude that is? And okay, I understand that it's not always fun to play with noobies, but how the hell are we supposed to not be unknown anymore of lots of people don't even wanna play with us?

i agree with you knowing they say it will uneven the teams but people can still make kinda fair teams with a non skilled player in there games aint hard.

But im gonna start hosting a alot more games for new guys and unknown players. You have alot of people who are willing to train up new people in lobby like zeke,kazter,lightness(its best not to ask him tho he will make you even worse),rok dan,samuel,herik so there are many people who will help you out get to a better level and get you known.

you'll get a long way (at least in my games) for answering to questions asked by the host or other people in a game. Like say, hey I've played EE 3 months now would like to play if it's okay, Im not the best but I try."

Most people simply just sit there not responding or can't speak english and then u just move to the kick option cause you can't make room for them in a game. Just a little response will get you somewhere I think.

you guys should prepare urself for being asked questions like "what civ for rena pocket" or "how much does one marine cost" etc. If you can answer everything then u r atleast able to play. If your wing (whos a pro ofcourse) suddenly starts to talk in "All" chat using those sentences like "omg my pocket sucks", "omg give me a good pocket next time", "*put-in-color-here* U SUCK U FUCKIN NOOB" then you know you are not welcome anymore.

U shouldnt take it personal. If someone has an unknown name he get kicked for 2 reasons. The first is that he is probably a noob and dunno how to play the game. But thats only partly a problem since u can get a decent level on some sets fast.
The main reason unkown players get kicked is because of smurfing. Smurfers are players that got no balls and like to play stacked teams,crash game, lag, or always press pause. They simply love to ruin the game for 7 other players. I know that not all unkown players are smurfers but most. And i can´t put so much effort into finding out who somebody is. Its just waste of time. So i simply kick unkown players its nothing personal. For a new players, there would be several solutions to get easier into the game. For example that we can ask Moderators if somebody unkown in our game is a new player or a smurf. Or they give new players a different color/icon in lobby so that everybody can see it.
But i dont think that there will be change since Omega told me that like 90% + of the players in Lobby smurf.
All in all to get into game and become a know player i would suggest u to keep playing PRE on AOC. Its not that hard to learn and compared to eec, easier to play if u a bad player but its also challenging if u want to be good. U also should be able to host ur own games so that u can learn some basics in 1vs1. Just host games like " 1vs1 me noob" and u will always find players that play with u. Civilizations for PRE u find here in the forum.

If someone who's getting kicked because he's accused of being a smurf want to prove he is not, he can ask a moderator himself and get the moderator to first check then tell the host he's not a smurf.
Other way around isn't really allowed, since we allow smurfing on this client and if you as a host could know everyone who's not new to save-ee then smurfing would be impossible.

Also I'd listen to Nemo in this case, he's giving a really good point.

And yes, I haerd and saw some smurfs. And I've been getting into mid over the last couple of weeks, some might even recognize my name. But oh well. I even witnessed some situation where I got completely ignored, asking stuff or talking and others saying "whos lime" "dunno" "we need room for xyz" "kick". But yeah, I guess that's just the hard way everyone needs to experience it.

Maybe to some. But we are really an underground cult awaiting our next temporary resurgence.

Maybe getting a clan up like herik is doing Auz and get new players in it then people atleast know.
Samuel started a new friendly clan what allows new players and learners in maybe we should go down this route futher.
