Autorun doesn't work when running EE installer

So, I decided to get back into EE with some friends of mine, I got the complete installer by xootle, and it tells me to press enter when it's done installing, but it never installs, it doesn't open the autorun EXE, and trying to open it manually results in nothing happening, tried running as administrator and compatibility mode, still nothing happens. Running the SETUP.EXE doesn't do me much good either, it says preparing to install then again nothing happens. My friends tried and it works just fine for them, we're all on windows 7, went through every page on the support and no one seemed to have this problem, so now I post myself hoping to fix it.

make sure you dont already have sierra folders on your computer, if you do del them

the installer i usually just use space bar and not enter

if it brings up the command prompt for running the program then it should run just fine and it should it works fine with all windows, not 100% sure about win 8 though
also try deleting then redownloading the installer

I tried just hitting spacebar despite it not installing, and it installed the patch just fine, it didn't install AoC because of the problem i'm having. I redownloaded it, same thing, I decided to try another one called EE-Ultimate, and that didn't work either, same problem, nothing occurs when I run the autorun or setup, and I did check for folders prior to all this.
