Not sure if this has been covered before. If it has, I apologize.
I went to load a saved game. EE crashed. Tried again. EE crashed. Tried a new random map game. EE crashed. Restarted computer and tried all previous steps again. Crashed. No error report, the game just closes as if I hit Alt +F4.
Anybody have an idea of what's going on? Computer has always run the game fine before. Nothing on the computer has changed. It's not connected to the internet and the only things that are run on it are EE and Starcraft. Occasionally Diablo II.
Here are some specs in case it's helpful:
Windows XP Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
1.73GHz processor with 1GB RAM.
Yeah, it's an oldie.
So... suggestions? Thanks ahead of time.

Re: Random map crash
Hello, have you tried going into the games settings and confirming or perhaps tweaking the settings ? Network adapters, 3D accelerator and resolution settings are all in there too, change them around a bit and experiment until your game stops crashing. Hope this helps in trying to solve your problem.
Good luck

Re: Random map crash
So far nothing seems to work. It's mildly frustrating.
Thanks for the reply, though. I'll keep trying, and maybe I'll win through attrition
