Problem installing the second patch

When I try to install the second patch (German) I get this message from the installer:

Empire Earth is not currently installed. You must have Empire Earth installed before you can install Empire Earth Difficulty Setting and Multiplayer Lobby Add-On.

The installation of the first patch completed successfully.

go there and do a manual install of the 2nd patch and see if that works

I did not yet manage to resolve this.
I initially tried the manual install and it failed. Now I tried the PatchUpdate install and it failed as well.

@Sexa: The Patch Utility downloads the exact same file that you would get from the downloads page.

Anyway, I'm not totally sure what the 2.0 Sierra update looks for before it tries to run, so I can't offer you much help. I can tell you that it won't work on any "portable" versions of EE. The only thing I can really suggest is that you uninstall and then reinstall your game, then try repeating the process.

Re-installing EE solved the problem.
