I heard contraband was horrible from every person i've talked to. I'm yet to see any movies this year. However, ones i'm looking forward to are:

Dark Knight Rises
Avengers
Skyfall (bond 23)
Hunger Games
The Hobbit
Taken 2
American Pie 4
The Bourne Legacy
Bad Santa 2
Die Hard 5
Men In Black 3
The Amazing Spiderman
The Great Gatsby
Underworld Awakening

Movies that may be ok:
Lincoln
Expendables 2
Bad Boys 3
Zoolander 2
Zombieland 2
Blade 4

Hey Lincoln is on my list COPIER! No sense of individualism from you young guns! ha j/k. Project X looks like it could be a good party movie. As for John Carter, it looks like it could be a flop. I do like the main actor though who is from the t.v. series Friday Night Lights.

Wow lol u really aren't a fan of original work are u? Like 90% of the films u look forward to are sequels or reboots

I like original movies? sequels/reboots come from originals so I don't see your point. Also, its easier to look forward to sequels when the originals were entertaining since you kinda know what to expect. I don't do research papers on every movie out there to see if it may be good. I looked at movies coming out and said "Hey the first was good... so the second should be good as well."

Anyway, if you are such a fan of originals... post ur list and stop trolling. I don't like your undertone sir lol j/k. <3

Yeah my list is much more well thought and worked out:

The Hobbit
The Great Gatsby
Dark Knight Rises
Skyfall (bond 23)
Hunger Games

Allright at first I had your list too, but I have no high hopes for the others sorry, though I am gonna watch them of course. A bowl of popcorn and a big budget movie never failed. I'd agree with u the criteries of looking forward to a movie is either a good first one (sequel should be good too), a carachter u know and like, a director u like, some actors u happen to like, big ass budget. Batman has all those components =)

Then later in the year u start looking forward to other movies u heard should be good or something, or perhaps they won a film festival, but tbh after the big failure of Tree Of Life I lost all faith in that. Never in my life have I seen something that boring and pointless

Yeah your list is a safe one, and I have no doubt each of those films will be good. A lot on my list will probably fail to live up to an entertaining movie; however, they each have a higher probability to be decent as opposed to newer movies if you consider the criteria you listed. Of course newer movies are more exciting if they turn out to be great!!

And yes, what a big failure 'Tree Of Life' was lol. A better film festival movie from last year was 'Separation' and a few others that I can't think of off the top of my head.

solid list nemo

Oh and Tom Hardy was a badass in 'Warrior'. Can't wait to see him as Bane in batman.

Even tho Christian Bale probably did his life's role in The Fighter, still didnt make me want to see it, again and again.
I gotta say I liked the story in Warrior alot more. When I started the movie I thought it was just gonna be another MMA-movie. Tom Hardy and Nick Noltes were just amazing.
The Fighter to me is 7/10 and Warrior 9/10.

Oh I feel the exact oppesite. I feel the story in Warrior is too flawed and we never get enough information. For example why on earth did they move into a house they can't afford? Not like he got fired in the first place, only when he wanted more money. Being in it for the money and in it too prove you're a tough guy doesn't really do it for me sorry. But the fight scenes are absolutely stunning and alot better than in the Fighter. But the story in the fighter works so much better for me. I liked Amy Adams alot that movie, bale of course and Melissa Leo was just one big pain in the ass lol well done. I doubt it was the lifetime role for Bale tho he is a very dedicated and talented actor, still young he will have plenty of good roles ahead of him Im sure.

I gave both an 8/10 on IMDb but it's a pretty broad spectre, the fighter is definitely better...
