Logitech G9x Mouse

I recently bought this Logitech G9x Mouse, cool mouse very smooth in windows except in Empire Earth.
When I'm ingame and I want to move the cursor very slowly, it doesn't move at all (let's say I try to move the mouse on my desk 0.5 inch). If I move it faster it works perfectly, just not when I move with "small distances".

If I set the DPI at 200-1000 its horrible, if I set it at 5700 DPI with lowest sensitivity possible it's better, but still not good enough.

Any idea's on how to fix this?

In addition: The mouse works perfectly in any other game / application so far I've used.

i have a logitech G500 and had same proplem but i fixed it with lower dpi but im not sure is is 2 years back...
but now it works fine play with the settings in logitch tool.
