[AOC] Failed To Decode Image

So i have gone through about 3 different copies from the internet before getting Multiplayer to work on EE. Went from Invaild CDkey to this error and now it works.

However, with AOC im still getting this error, please help me. Went through the same issues but it also came up with a different error and so i went to run as administrator and now it works fine apart from this error, which is weird. I have also tried to repair the neoee patch.

Copy 1: https://igg-games.com/empire-earth-gold ... nload.html (this copy was having the invalid CDkey issue) (installed x2)

Copy 2: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4091 (this copy was having the error in the image after installing the neoee patch, unless i installed it incorrectly which i highly doubt) (installed x5)

Copy 3: https://oldgamesdownload.com/empire-earth/ (this copy is where EE finally started to work but AOC wont work and is having the issue in the image) (installed x1)

Each Copies amount of installations was installed from scratch.

I assume you tried to modify the lobby images, at least that's what that error is.

You have in your game folder(AoC) / Data / WONLobby Resources / Images , that file main_menu_compilation.jpg

You probably don't have it, or if you do, it's not as a .jpg (this is necessary, the image to be a .jpg, due to how it's formated in the .cfg files that are mentioned in the error )

So if you do have such a file, just open it up, and save as "main_menu_compilation" as name, and .jpg as file type, put it in that folder that i mentioned above, and it should be good.

i have not modified anything these errors are coming out of nowhere.

In the attachment as you can see they are all already .jpg, so i dont think thats the issue here.

i said what i said above considering the error that you get.

Just unistall the NeoEE Patch and re-install it, it should re-install the correct images.

Tried that still coming up with the same error in AOC and EE is still working fine though, which is what i dont understand as to why one is working and the other one isn't.

you could try to copy the folder
"WonLobby Resources" from EEC to AoC ...any connection files are not stored there anyway, that's just the lobby

Tried it. Still not working. At this rate it might be best to just leave AoC alone and only play EE.
