ee-aoc.exe error all the time

Post by MrKen »

Well, somehow I keep getting ee-aoc.exe errors during the game... No patches and just 2 players. I even save between to prevend errors, but the error keeps coming back.
Any patch, solution or w/e to fix?

Edit: Besides it made my laptop crash; whole laptop doesn't work anymore!

aoc wouldnt kill a computer if its from a disk
did your comp turn off randomly sometimes, if so it was most likely a heat issue which has finally killed your comp

Nothing with heat and also no random shut downs.
kept getting Game errors more and more by time, untill I had to reboot my pc due a crash. After reboot the pc wont restart.
Still not fixed, but soon will reboot the hard disk.

the exe from the sierra disk shouldnt effect your computer at all, you may have a virus attacking exe programs that keeps shutting it down

and when you say wont restart do you mean it just wont come on at all like there is no power or it will act like its starting but just stalls out in limbo

if its the first you may need a new power supply
if its the second youll need to reinstall windows with your disk, or if you have vista turn the comp on and hold the F8 button down till the install screen comes up, it should give you a few options, if you have a lot of shit you wanted on there then there is an option to keep all that too and it puts it in a seperate folder so you can get all the crap you actually want back, then just delete the folder after you have what you want
