There are quite some people who are fighting the patch, by fighting, I don't mean voting no, but by convincing others to vote no before they even give it a chance, scared that what they wont get what they wanted. Some of these fighters have been muted or banned in the past for various reasons from Glitching to spamming. (Would you want to take advice from a cheater?), also 'Ring Leader' Ownage DJ, why do you worship him? In-case you aren't aware, he has infringed many rules, the list is below.

: _Ownage^DJ_™

Spam (Mute)
Ghosting (Ban)
Spam (Mute)
Circumventing a mute
Spam (Mute)
Circumventing another mute
Racism (Mute)
Inappropriately hosting games to protest mute, despite repeated warnings (Ban)
A bunch of offenses I can't be bothered to look up and list (Mutes, bans)
Spam, after ignoring TWO warnings from TWO separate moderators. (Mute)
Circumventing above mute.
Spamming YET AGAIN (Xwar added)
Wearing the MAB tag (Xwar added)

Source: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=510

He was also recently banned for using the MAB tag like an idiot. Now, I'm not telling everyone to vote yes, but before you choose, "Give it a Chance.", you may be in for a surprise, and the patch is ment to protect all from cheaters. (Remember how some of the fighters are cheaters themselves... )

-edit- updated list.
