i wudnt agree with such increases. being able to boom on when your patch is gone is a requirement. constant food patch wud ruin many strategies i think... maybe a small increase wud be ok but other than that i wud say no. i think forest is fine except in desert map where u get very little

all are incredibly stupid ideas, the increase in amount of wood in trees for planets or islands being the most sensible of the choices.

the patch NEEDS to b 2500, why? becouse its ment for the beginning of the game, its not intended to last till the end. its like saying lets buff stingers becuase they arnt as good as other AA, and yet stingers fill there role perfectly.

i dont have to much experience with fishing, but when i have ive noticed ppl tend to over mas boats to whore out there fishing spots. which would lead to them having alot more food earlier at the cost of there wood for the boats, and the wood which will b useless later in game as the boats become useless. this is the way its suppose to b, its not suppose to b a win win scenario.

market is by far the worst idea any earlier then mod would b devastating to the game. to pre2 games, to just about everything. markets are still considered quite good, when using them in modsh and a few strats with them work.

market from copper would be far overpowered

even 3000 food would be too much( +15% forage with these food patches would be OP too)

no just no the tree thing i wouldn't care about, but everything else is really stupid


if you have problems with food do the following

don't eat all your animals before 10f11
take the middle hunt
do better at defending your cits and attacking with your clubman so you spend less food

If you still run out food after those steps. I suggest you make less clubman/citizens you only need like an army of 45-70, and about 50-70 citizens. Anything else stockpile, so if you see your pop is 100-140ish don't make units.

As for the no f11 part umm you get a free ride to copper make farms.

A unit to afforest wood would be nice. islands 60 f11 games often ending because one team dont have more wood but they could fight on with more wood.In Age of empires was this possible i think.

in f11 60 island games you need the place covered with trees (eg for farms). so stronger trees have a negative side too.

Really tired of people who confine most of their contact with EE to citybuilders and forum/lobbywhoring coming around and trying to fuck up long standing and popular setts based on their whim. Seriously do you people just not think? And devilrider honestly who the hell are you to call baron names. I know he's a good pre player and I've seen him trying other setts aswell...meanwhile what the fuck do you do. Why would you need more trees on a planets map? Like baron said you need room for farms on both planets and islands, and anyway pre-space planets is hardly played anymore. In any event its been ruined by the missile base buff....just ask K or elmer about the game we played a few weeks ago. And why do you need more forage or fish? They're designed to be non-renewable food sources. Make a damn farm. In p2s with 2 forage patches and average hunt you've got at least 6500-7000 food; it takes 2686 to get copper. So you've got almost 5k food to use on eco and army, and this is assuming you don't manage your hunt at all and don't expand to any other food sources. Learn to manage your eco. Figure EE out. Stick to your citybuilders and crying about siege massing and home base attacking and stop worrying about making the game "better." Because your definition of "better" is grounded in ignorance.
