Save Empire Earth

Vastly superior guide to come later.

0) Start with an unpatched game
1) Find your main game folder. Copy it.
2) Rename the copy to like Empire Earth UNPATCHED or Empire Earth - The Art of Conquest UNPATCHED. Basically stick UNPATCHED or w/e you want at the end.
3) Go into that folder, right click on the executable Empire Earth.exe or eeaoc.exe, and create a shortcut to desktop.
4) Go to desktop and rename the shortcut you just created by sticking like UNPATCHED or w/e at the end.
5) Apply the patch on one of the folders (preferably on the one that doesn't say UNPATCHED lol)

For all who get out of sync at unoatched AOC and your game crashes when you go to Options, I FOUND A SOLUTION!!!!

The problem is that you have EEC patched and AOC not!

1*) Just simply deinstall EEC Patch 2.1b or whatever it is called.

2*) After that make a Backup of your EEC folder and name it EEC_Patched or whatever you like

3*) Install the Patch on THE BACKUP e.g. EEC_Patched

4*) Be happy with playing unpatched AOC

Maybe you tell them to Patch only the Backups Omega!
