Can something be done about the whispering system

It is very aggrivating to me, that after you whisper somethign it doesnt go back to the regular lobby chat. Cant tell you how many times i whisper someone something i meant to write in the lobby. I think we should go back to writing '/r' before whispering to someone..i do it half the time anyway.
