empire earth crash after 2hours

hello guys,
i have been playing quite a bit of ee since i discovered this site.
the last week everything worked perfectly. Today i played a couple round with friends, firstly my game/screen freezes sometimes, not due to autosave it just randomly freezes for a couple seconds. then after like two hours the freeze stays and im not be able to do anything then kill the ee.exe. is anyone else having those troubles or may even be able to help me? played couple rounds today...we are playing with 8 people and its pretty shitty if we have to restart the game because my game freezes.

Due to the growing hardware incompatibility I fear you can be already happy that it works at all. I wouldn't try to change it, in worst case it may lead to a situation in which EE won't work any more at all.
