I installed windows 7 ult 32 bit over my win xp. I then installed ee, everything install fine. When I run the game with cd in drive, right after splash screen i get empire earth has stopped working box pop up and windows tries to resolve the issue but cant. I need some help here please? Maybe something to do with registry? ...

What exactly did you install? EE and AOC with Neo EE patches?
You installed EE from CD?
Any errors came up under install?
Have you tried other settings?
Tried running it as XP?
Have you seen how it looks in regedit?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? (do this last)

Re: EE1/EE-AOC crashes after splash screen Win 7 Ult. 32bit
I have installed and uninstalled from the genuine cd's 3 times. The first time I installed ee than aoc and then I patched it to 2.0 (for LAN play ...) tried to run the game and same stop working at splash . I remove the patched back to original, tried to run the game and both ee/aoc stop working at splash. So I uninstall both ee/aoc and reinstall, try to run and stop. Uninstall both run a reg cleaner, reboot, install only ee and run it from cd all times and stopped. What exactly did you install? EE and AOC with Neo EE patches?

No errors during install, it went smooth every time.
I switched resolution to 1024x780 still stopped.
Tried compatibility mode, still stopped.
Idk much of anything when it come to regedit.
I have looked into my video card drivers and I am using windows one. So I will see if i can download the proper drivers and give it another try. Post back soon.

Try running the Neo EE patch again and press "fix cd key" or something like that.

Also go to your EE folder and open the file WONlobby in notepad, look for this:
CDKeyCheck: true
If it says false, manually change it to true.
