Save Empire Earth

Whenever I open ee, it instantly minimizes and I have to click it 20+ times until I click a button in the blackness before it minimizes again.

Like i start ee it minimizes I click ee really fast it goes to maximize, the screen goes black but if I keep clicking and hit any option ee will appear but if I dont it minimizes. Now this hasn't worried me until now.

Now its doing it anytime it has to load, like I hit scenario editor it does it, test a scen in scenario editor it does, join a game it does it and if I get into a game just as the game starts it does it.

I just ran it in compatibility mode before and that did shit all. I'm using Windows 7 X64. I need to fix this quickly so I can start work on my tutorials for scenarios.

EDIT: I fixed it, it was caused by firefox being open, how annoying and weird.

same problem. But just while starting eec or starting a game. It started after installing patch etc. (not the new one)

I noticed that it more likely happens in eec.

Ps: reinstalling doesn't fix the problem.

I had the same problem, however it stopped when I closed Firefox.

Update video driver

Video Card drives are always up to date, though I always have Firefox open so I might try exiting it and see what happens.

Happend to me when i bought my G15 keyboard , always have to plug it out now while starting ee and can plug it in after , workx perfectly than

I had an original G15, got tired of it though. The key layout is horrid, you dont really realize though until you try and type really fast. I went and got a lycosa when I found out my G15 was useless at typing fast.

No offense, but jeeze them things are ugly. The razor works for me and the Cyborg works for you.

All you need is to Maximize all firefox windows befor you enter EE
It's strange but only happend to me on vista and windows 7

Oh thanks, I was getting annoyed with having to close all my tabs and exit firefox. I might be ditching FF soon anyway, its been so shitta lately. It like freezes and then unfreezes constantly, I might look into google chrome, its just they dont have the awesome add ons.

No matter what I do EE still keeps minimizing and I have closed firefox. Am I doing something wrong?

too MANY applications running causes the same problems although for me.

For Sony users VAIO gate seems to be the problem
