The nuke attack buff on AoC is pretty relevant. Its not necessarily the number that matters per se, but 20k attack as opposed to like 3500 max with attack upgrades in mod...is a big deal with respect to effectiveness. I'm actually not sure how ishtar'd buildings hold up against a normal nuke in tournament variant, but in standard with ishtar it takes 2 nukes to kill high hp buildings like capitals, town centers, and airports, and naval yards. Towers might actually require 3, and walls take 3 or 4.

Whereas the AoC nukes obliterate EVERYTHING within the 35+18 attack radius. Which basically means all you have to do is have 4-5 nukes survive long enough to drop their payload, if you micro them cleverly you wipe out a quarter of the enemy's island in one hit.
