or like hello said just play alot... granted getting beat within f11 5 isnt going to make u much better SO LEARN UR HOTKEYS!!!!!!!!
AND PRACTICE WITH BASE SET UPS IN MULTIPLAYER
THEN...... PLAY AGAINST TACO then u get better

okay this is in addition to omegas, and my 1st few posts. after u learn how to mass, and base set up. play alot of 1v1s. to begin with pick or get a decent enemy. ur aim is to eventually beat them and to the point where its 50:50 then move on to a better 1v1 partner imo. if i was u i would do this is 3 steps. a average player, a good player and the best. no point for either player in a 1v1 if the best will just pwn u 3f11 every game.

also. dont get down when losing 1v1s. if u follow this i promise u 2 things.
1. u will LOSE alot more then u win
2. u will become alot better, alot quicker then any other way given every time u TRY and improve and beat them. u will also not b a player who is relies on a team mate. u will also b quite decent at 1v1, unlike alot of skilled players who are horrible at it.

i find that improvement is rather fun, and gives u much more enjoyment short term at least. play 2 win imo is the only way u should play(a little exaggerated, but the general idea is to go for the win). dont play the game if u dont enjoy it,

Thats what makes this game great, you have to practice at it. Its like learning a new instrument, you will suck at first, but you will see improvements, and soon you will be playing music. I could train someone, but that would only go so far, only thing that will make you better is determination, and practice.
