Hey everyone,

I just learned today that Michael Austin, who you may know as Nola (inola on the forums), or just Mike, recently passed away.

While certainly some of you may not have liked him, being that he was the original Save-EE banhammer, please show him the utmost respect. As one of the founders of Save-EE, he setup the initial hosting accounts and helped with the day-to-day administration and moderation. He strongly opposed racism and fascism in the lobby and forums and can be attributed with changing the toxic culture of the lobby chat.

His family has organized a GoFundMe for his funeral.

Thank you, Mike, for your selflessness and our fun games of EE and BF2. You will be missed.

Only seeing this now. V sad news. Goes to show you there must be plenty of former EE players who aren't with us anymore.

Certainly been a long ride from then till now.

I do hope the rest of you out there are as well as can be.
