Does anyone know a place or a group or where I should like, I miss the old EE2 community and I still want to talk about this game. Are people still around? Any communitys still around?

We're pretty dedicated to EE1. I think it's safe to say most of us think EE2 & EE3 are pretty bad, but I wouldn't go so far to say that there's not people that like both EE1&2.

You might have better luck finding what's left of the EE2 community at Empire Earth Heaven or Empire Earth Planet.

I bought EE2 the day it came out in norway, ran home and installed it. Looked around for 2 hours and thought WTF, then opened EE1 again and went back to normal
I bought EE3 the day it came out, ran home and installed it. Looked around for 2 min, took out the CD from the computer and broke it in half.

Pretty clear what I think about the follow ups isnt?

EEII wasn't bad. It was more of a single player game then a multi-player game though so I stayed with EEI for most of the time.

Heyy, i use too play Empire earth 2 for 2-3 years untill servers went down. I been looking to have a few games. People play at GameRanger but don't play the 5-5 settings or anything. P.M me if keen too have a few games

huge dissapoint in EE2 and EE3,,, I actually just hoped that EE2 would be graphicly better than EE1, more units, more diversity, same depth. Better multiplayer more pop etc,,, not that bullshit that wasnt EE anymore...

EE2 is somehow a different game than EE1, so shouldn't be compared. There are people who like EE2 more, and there are people who like EE1 more (for example because they don't like the territories system).

Anyway, I'm the creator of Unofficial Patch 1.5 for Empire Earth 2. With the newest update we have the old in-game lobby working.

The full changes list is available in the link above, but the most interesting changes are:
- Full support for Windows 8 / 8.1 / 10.
- Support for all screen resolutions (including 4k, before only six 4:3 resolutions were available).
- Experimental graphics fixes, for example: DirectX 9, fix for no fire/explosion on the Intel HD graphics cards.

I'm not going to discuss which game is better (for me EE2 is), because it's a pointless discussion. Obviously for people who played EE1 as their first game EE2 is bad (and vice versa). As long as people have fun on both games comparing them doesn't really matter.
