Severe lag when loading

When loading the game, and at other instances of loading, the computer freezes up to the point that my keyboard lights freeze, all my usb devices lag and freeze, mouse updates at 0.5 fps.
After about 15 seconds it boots. Then mini lag between ingame loading.

Also, widescreen looks stretched ingame and when loading to new screens, the game will sort of minimise partially to desktop. Do you guys use fullscreen?

I am using Windows 10.
Cpu is i7 4790k
Gpu is GTX 1080

first...the game should run only in full screen.

Second.Try to Set Affinity on the game to use only the last 2 physical cores.EE doesn't handle multi-core too well.
